TOP TRACKS of 2017

Top Tracks of the Year // best of 2017 in no particular order other than happenstance.

...2017 has been a wild year for music. Let's look back at a few tracks we've come across the past 12 months.

From Dan Croll to Night Moves, these tracks are paving the genre-less future of music and the mixing of influences.

A few standouts:

Rationale released a ton of music this year, and his sound is completely unique. The Zimbabwe-born, London-based artist is unlike anything we've ever heard before.

HalfNoise had the most listenable EP of the year and track (French Class).

The most awaited release (on our end) was probably YEBBA's Evergreen. This girl is going to be as popular as Adele/Sam Smith soon. (In fact, she was featured on Sam's new album!) Thanks to singing backup for Chance the Rapper and making friends with Thirdstory, Sam Smith and many other huge names, she has managed to collaborate her way to the top. Rightfully so. Check out her session with Sofar Sounds last December, below.

Our favorite song of the year was probably the Vulfpeck/Joey Dosik collab of Running Away

Honorable mention? Sam Evian's I Remember

Alright cool, now feast your ears on the best tunez of tune-thousand-and-17.
